This new series is aimed at adults and teenagers, who wish to learn Greek as a foreign/second language in an easy, pleasant yet effective manner.

The first book covers the material provided by the detailed programmes of language attainment in Greek for levels A1 and A2. The second book correspondingly covers the material for level B1. The material for each level is laid down on the Common European Framework of Reference.

It contains the material covered in Epikinoniste Ellinika 1 specially adapted to facilitate the English speaking beginner who is learning Modern Greek. Having completed the material covered in Communicate in Greek for Beginners the student can continue with the books Epikinoniste Ellinika 2 and 3.

In this course exercise instructions as well as the titles and explanations in grammar tables are all in English; an appendix has been added in the course book with notes in English on grammar and vocabulary together with some information on everyday life in Greece.
