In the last 40 or 50 years people have shown a growing interest in learning one or more languages, other than their mother tongue, for professional or personal reasons.
Today it is common knowledge that learning any language as a foreign language requires a significantly different approach than that used for tackling the same language as a mother tongue. This, of course, is also true for Modern Greek.
Hence, among other important parameters, the foreign language teacher is required, apart from language structure and vocabulary, to focus on the four communicative skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Led by our continuous awareness regarding the latest methodolgy trends and our long experience in the field, we publish material for the teaching of Greek as a foreign language always aiming to help both learner and teacher in the most effective way.
